[Has spent a little while just hanging around the outside of the Welcome Centre after getting his journal back off the oh-so-helpful ladies there really, they couldn't even give him the date?, taking in the familiar sights and getting his head around the sudden memory-dump that comes with returning. Aspirin, here we come -]
I'm back. [...and stating the obvious. ;;;] I don't know how long it's been here since I left, but I hope everyone's been keeping safe and well in the meantime. Everyone seemed fine at home, and...I really didn't remember being here at all. Has anything major happened to people whilst I was gone, or to the country itself...?

Since there's just under two weeks left until Easter, I thought it'd be a good idea to ask this now, and see what you all think. [...] Would any of you be interested in having an egg hunt and costume party that weekend, to celebrate the holiday? We could have games for both the children and the adults, and prizes for the winners and those with the most interesting costumes. [See: alcohol and chocolate.]

[Video shows a messy bedroom, with various items of clothing flung everywhere, with Yuui apparently kneeling in front of his wardrobe and tossing things out in a hurry. As you watch out come two skirts, various padded bras, and some things which are probably related to knickers but look more like strips of cloth with a few ribbons on them.]
Where are my clothes?!
[Out comes what looks like a long blue ballgown - it's tossed in the direction of the journal, and ends up covering the camera. Have an image of nothing but blue for a few minutes, with the sound of more clothes being thrown about, and some decidely uncharitable muttering towards Kiseki. Eventually, the video cuts out.]
[Ooc: Anyone out early enough in the main hotel's hallways might see Yuui dart past them a little later (as fast as he can go in high heels, anyway) wearing this number, heading to his brother's to see if he can get a change of clothes. Feel free to stop him if your character's about~ Replaying the crossdressing event.]

It seems a little odd, to take away all of the usual townspeople and flood the Welcome Centre with newcomers but what really counts as odd, in this place? [Had been wanting to do some shopping today, sigh.]

Just a general note to say I've moved rooms - I'm still in the same hotel, but if anyone needs to contact me I'll be in room [insert number here] from now on, if I'm not working at the school or the bar in town.
Also, has anyone seen Kero-san? He didn't show up at the school yesterday at lunch, which is unusual for him...
[ooc: Yuui now lives on the top floor of the main hotel - what can I say; he's perfecting his princess impersonation, and Kiseki appears to be towerless right now ^_~. Kurogane-sensei has the spare key; isn't he lucky?]

[Yuui's seated at the kitchen table in the Horitsuba house again, with one of the cookbooks he got for Christmas open in front of him. It looks like he's reading, but if you look closer, his eyes aren't really focused on the page. In the background, a pan on the stove is smoking - and not in a good way. Eventually, the smell of that smoke is going to sink into the distracted one's senses -]
What...? [looking up and noticing the oven] Ah-
[Video ends on the screech of his chair on the floor as as he goes to rescue the dinner.]

I'm not sure whether I preferred the warm weather we had earlier in the week or not to the chill that's bringing the snow back, but it's certainly a relief to have my clothing back all the same a charming idea that we might actually have a white Christmas here - it's been a long while since I've seen one.
On the topic of Christmas... to my students, I'm sorry I've been forced to cancel such a long string of classes just recently - we never did get around to making the Christmas desserts I promised you we would. I was wondering if any of you would like to come in on Tuesday for a session? If there's anything at all you'd like to make for the season I'll be glad to teach you how to make it; the school size seems to have reduced itself somewhat in these past few weeks, so if people wanted to do individual projects instead of a class-wide thing I'm sure it would be little trouble. We could even have a small party afterwards. [^^]

[Have a late-night/early-morning post, because the twins aren't sleeping very well due to a certain branch of sakura blossoms Fai 'mysteriously' found in the park in the dead of winter. Thanks for that, Seishirou. Really.]
...I'd like to give a general apology to everyone for events over this past week - I behaved a little irrationally [at the start, I was scared out of my mind], and I realise I said some rather stupid and/or hurtful things to certain individuals. [That isn't how I would've envisioned my second childhood to go.]
For those of you who helped I can only offer my sincerest thanks but - would anyone be able to tell me what I missed whilst I was small? [^^;;]

[Forward-dated to next Tuesday, after-school, when his classes are done]
[Video comes on at a weird angle to show an overturned stool, and a shattered bowl beside it leaking some sort of batter onto the floor. It's quite a wonderful mess, and if you look closely enough, you can see a bit of red liquid on a few of the shards - someone's attempted to clean up, apparently, and cut themselves.
Past the fallen stool is the bench it's supposed to be placed beside, and in the hollow beneath a little blond figure in far-too-large white clothes can be seen huddled, with a smear of red on his arm from where he's held it with his hand. He's not making any noise, but there's a definite wobble going on from what you can see of his face. (Somebody's upset.)]

I've had my cast removed today, everyone, so I'm pleased to announce my classes can go back to normal as soon as the week resumes. Thank you very much for your assistance these past few weeks, Seishirou-sensei - it was greatly appreciated.

I found some mushrooms in the park on the way home today; they're of the edible kind, so I'll be using them in stew for dinner tonight. [Be prepared for sparkles.] ...Afterwards, would you like to go to the bar with me? I want to play the piano again - it's surprising how much I've missed it after playing it so intensively for a while, and then not playing at all. You could bring Kurogane-sensei along if he's available as well; I'm sure he wouldn't mind having a drink with us.

...Is anyone else in the hotel having weird problems with their lights? Or their shadows? [handwriting might be a little rushed here - Yuui's vaguely embarrassed at having to ask this, because. Shadows do not suddenly detach themselves from your feet and wave at you before proceeding to wreak havoc around your rooms. Is he hallucinating or-?]
Fai...Cake keeps barking at them, and - [doesn't know what to do. Wtf do you do against a shadow when you can't get the lights to work the way you want them to?]
[OOC: Yuui-sensei ran out of chocolate to give the trick-or-treaters, and hadn't had the time to make any more treats due to baking a bunch of birthday cakes. Fais, you can expect to see those on your doorsteps in the morning, without any explanation whatsover.]

Everyone, I'll be starting teaching at the school today - the younger class will, by popular demand, be making cookies for their first session, the elder fruit crumble. [There’s a strange view of the underside of someone’s chin, a vaguely muted, feminine voice saying something. The voice stops, and in reply the face attached to the chin looks down directly at the view] Oh! [A hand reaches for the lens, and camera/audio shuts off] I’ve never been given a journal as welcoming present before, especially not one that shoots and plays videos as well as letting me write in it. Do visitors here really stay around long enough to fill in the whole thing? It has a lot of pages… Fai, if you’re somehow reading this (the young ladies behind the desk said this would somehow reach everyone?), please turn down the pasta on the stove, otherwise it’ll stick to the pan. If I’m not back before Kurogane-sensei comes around, would you just go ahead and eat? I’ll phone as soon as I can.
